A New Model for Elderly Care in Zambia

At Maureen Bweupe Care Foundation, we care for two generations at once.

Our care facility supports vulnerable elders with daily assistance, home-cooked meals, and dignity. At the same time, our students are enrolled in a certified Nursing Assistant program in Zambia—training in the very same space they serve.

This is what happens when care becomes community.

We are growing something bigger than a program. We are growing a place where elders feel seen, and students learn by doing, with heart, hands, and purpose.

Certified Nursing Assistant School and Elderly Care Facility in Zambia

We are building a 100-room care facility for vulnerable elders and a 50-room dormitory for nursing students. Our certified Nursing Assistant course prepares students for the future—while changing lives in the present.

We’re also:

  • Growing food in our on-site vegetable and flower garden
  • Operating a food bank for families and seniors in need
  • Conducting home visits to reach isolated elders
  • Building community outreach programs across Zambia

We serve people. We train people. We bring them together because that’s how genuine care grows.
